Jason Statham Is Officially the King of Prime Video

Jason Statham’s latest movie is already finding redemption after struggling to get off the ground at the box office. The master action star began the year by featuring in one of the highest-rated features of his career, Shelter, but despite these reviews, the film never gained traction at the box office. Shelter has since gone on to become a massive hit on Starz after it dominated VOD charts on Prime Video. Most fans thought that they would see Statham reprising his role as Adam Clay in a sequel to The Beekeeper before the end of this year, but Amazon announced earlier in the year that the film won’t be coming to theaters until January 15, 2027. Statham is also expected to have a sizable role in Fast Forever, but the film has a myriad of obstacles to overcome before its 2028 launch date.
