The success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is all set to become the highest-grossing movie in domestic box-office history, appears to have pulled off the improbable act of revitalizing the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The franchise has had a difficult few years, experiencing box-office blows for the first time in its history with movies such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Thunderbolts*.
