Syfy’s Cult Classic Western Officially Says Goodbye to Free Streaming

Battlestar Galactica is one of the few pioneering sci-fi shows to quickly develop a cult following that remains hopeful for a reboot to this day. Created by Star Trek veteran Ronald D. Moore, the military space drama follows humanity’s last survivors as they are forced into exile after the robotic Cylons launch a devastating genocidal attack on the Twelve Colonies. It premiered as a three-hour miniseries on the Sci Fi Channel, now Syfy, in December 2003, later expanding into four seasons, concluding on March 20, 2009.
