Guy Ritchie’s 2-Part Netflix Thriller Officially Crosses Major 100 Million Milestone

Guy Ritchie‘s Netflix crime drama The Gentlemen, inspired by his 2019 hit film of the same name, seemed to have fallen victim to the trend of shows losing a major chunk of their viewership due to long gaps between seasons. The Gentlemen premiered in 2024, but returned with a second season two years later. Season 2 registered a 45% decrease in opening-week viewership compared to Season 1, which proved to be a major hit for Netflix. However, despite the initial hiccup, The Gentlemen is pulling off something rather unexpected. It seems like audiences are either revisiting Season 1, or are finally giving in and watching it for the first time after Season 2’s release.
