‘Doctor Who’ Officially Begins a New Era With New Sci-Fi Reboot

Regeneration has always been a handy way of keeping one particular British sci-fi institution alive. Change the Doctor, change the companions, occasionally change the TARDIS, and off you go for another adventure through space and time. This time, however, the BBC isn’t just regenerating its leading character, it’s effectively regenerating the entire show and maybe hoping we all forget what happened. Worth a shot.
