‘Law & Order’ Officially Celebrates the End of an Era Next Month

NBC’s long-running legal drama Law & Order returns for its 26th season next month, featuring most of its main cast, though one member will depart during the season. Reid Scott, who joined the show three years ago, will leave early this season, with his exit to be depicted on-screen, as teased by executive producer Rick Eid. Fans of the police procedural will remember that Scott first appeared in Season 23 as Detective Vincent Riley, taking over from Jeffrey Donovan, who portrayed Detective Frank Cosgrove in Seasons 21 and 22. Donovan’s departure was announced on November 15, 2023.
