Prime Video’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Meets ‘The Chosen’ Epic Officially Sets New 2026 Release

Historical epics are not in short supply, depending on what direction you’d like to tread. The best fantasy shows at the moment, House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, feel almost more like historical dramas, albeit from a fictional age that never really existed. After finding tremendous success with The Chosen, Prime Video managed to find it’s own answer to the epics of the Game of Thrones universe with the biblical series hit, House of David.
