A true crime docuseries might be topping the charts in the U.S., but the global Netflix crown belongs to Guy Ritchie’s best television series. A spin-off of his 2019 film of the same name, The Gentlemen was one of the biggest new hits on the world’s largest streamer in 2024, as Eddie Horniman’s (Theo James) evolution from reluctant recipient of a drug empire to criminal veteran had the world hooked. Back with Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) for an international second season, Eddie’s return this month has dominated streaming conversation. But it isn’t the only series worth watching.
