‘Wheel of Time’ Author Officially Breaks Silence on Franchise Reboot

While Sci-fi enthusiasts have an incredible taste for adventure, as the allure of space comes into focus in franchises like Star Trek and Star Wars, no genre holds quite an insatiable, adventure-hungry audience quite like the fantasy genre. From arguably the peak of cinematic performance within the genre in Peter Jackson‘s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. HBO and its adaptation of George R.R. Martin‘s acclaimed novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire, delivered the award-winning, critically acclaimed fantasy series, Game of Thrones and its attendant prequels. Since its conclusion in 2019 and even prior to that, the HBO series had established itself as the standard by which every other show within the genre would be measured.
