‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Director’s ‘Miami Vice’ Remake Officially Casts Villain

After spending the last few years with fast planes (in Top Gun: Maverick) and fast cars (in F1: The Movie), director Joseph Kosinski is gunning his engines for the greatest speedboat franchise of all time: Miami Vice. Before the cameras start rolling, he’s assembling his cast for the glitz and glamor of 1980s Miami, and now he’s got his villain, who had a star turn in this summer’s The Odyssey.
