Right now is an exciting time to be a James Bond fan, even though Amazon is keeping its cards close to the chest when it comes to the new 007 film that’s been in the works for a while. It was originally thought that major action stars like Henry Cavill or Idris Elba were next in line to take over the role of Bond from Daniel Craig, who had his swan song with the character in 2021’s No Time to Die, but this is no longer the case. Bond casting director Nina Gold, who also worked on Game of Thrones, has confirmed that Amazon is eyeing a much younger actor for the project. Some of the names on the narrowed-down list include Callum Turner, Jack Lowden, Jacob Elordi, and Paul Mescal.
