Jon Bernthal’s Forgotten War Epic Officially Finds New Life on Streaming

Few actor can say they’ve had as successful a year as Jon Bernthal, who has starred in two of the biggest movies of the year with The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Bernthal was tapped to play Menelaus in Christopher Nolan’s hit historical epic, which has grossed well over $1.5 billion at the global box office. Meanwhile, Bernthal suited up as The Punisher opposite Tom Holland in Spider-Man 4, which is now one of the highest-grossing movies in history. He’s also had a big year in TV, where he starred in one of the most successful Netflix shows of the year, His & Hers, with Tessa Thompson. He also teamed up with Ebon Moss-Bachrach for a surprise prequel episode of The Bear, “Gary,” which was nothing short of a smash-hit on Hulu.
