Jon Bernthal’s Forgotten ‘Sopranos’ Spin-Off Officially Surges on Streaming

Few stars are having as successful a year as Jon Bernthal, who has headlined some of the biggest movies and TV shows on streaming and in theaters. Bernthal began 2026 by teaming up with Tessa Thompson for the Netflix original series, His & Hers, which earned millions of views during its initial period on streaming. He then reprised his role as Frank Castle in The Punisher: One Last Kill before returning to the role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which has grossed well over $2 billion at the global box office. The fourth MCU Spider-Man movie wasn’t the first box office hit of the summer for Bernthal, though. Two weeks before its premiere, he made his debut in a Christopher Nolan movie by starring as Menelaus in The Odyssey, which is set to arrive on digital platforms in November.
