Later this year on November 19, Grand Theft Auto 6 will take place in Vice City, which is directly inspired by Miami — other notable franchise locations like Los Santos are inspired by LA, while Liberty City is inspired by New York. Will Smith’s Bad Boys franchise is another iconic film franchise that’s repeatedly used Miami for its primary location. Movies and TV shows set in Miami-Dade County almost help the viewer feel like they’re on vacation with the characters, but there’s one franchise that has arguably used the location more effectively than any of its counterparts.
