Aaron Sorkin Officially Confirms ‘The Social Reckoning’ Was Changed Over Legal Concerns

After collaborating on the generational classic The Social Network 16 years ago, both director David Fincherand writer Aaron Sorkin have new movies coming out within a few weeks of each other. Incidentally, both sequels, but not to films that either Fincher or Sorkin directed themselves. Fincher, of course, is gearing up for the release of The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, a follow-up to Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Sorkin, on the other hand, is all set to release The Social Reckoning, a companion piece to the classic that won him an Oscar. In a new interview, Sorkin spoke about whether there were any hurdles in getting the movie made and admitted that an unusually strict vetting process forced him to make several changes to the movie to avoid any lawsuits from Meta.
