Netflix's Officially Says Goodbye to a Forgotten Fantasy Sequel

The most ambitious screen event for fantasy fans is on the way, despite consistent and loud controversy surrounding its creator. HBO’s adaptation of all seven of the Harry Potter novels will hit streaming on December 25, 2026, and the most recent trailers and images promise a world both rich in magic and faithful to the source material. Young Dominic McLaughlin (remember the name) takes over from Daniel Radcliffe as the titular Boy Who Lived, with Paapa Essiedu featuring as Severus Snape, Janet McTeeras Minerva McGonagall,Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, and John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, and many more.
