Jon Hamm’s New Crime Thriller Officially Premieres in 24 Hours

Borrowing the template established by Ryan Murphy with American Crime Story, American Horror Story, and American Sports Story anthologies, a new series created by an equally respected writer is all set to debut. The new show’s first season is headlined by Jon Hamm, who, in recent months, has starred in the massively successful Your Friends & Neighbors and Landman. A household name thanks to his run on Mad Men, Hamm most recently appeared in Larry David‘s HBO sketch comedy series Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness. His new show is a crime thriller based on a real incident that took place in 1977, when a man held his mortgage broker hostage at gunpoint.
