Hulu is the home of some great Gen Z comedies. However, it is difficult for the latest shows to truly stand out in an increasingly volatile TV climate, as was evident with the recent cancellation of Not Suitable for Work. The Friends-esque coming-of-age comedy, which starred Ella Hunt, Avantika, Will Angus, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay, and Jay Ellis, was the final series in a “trilogy of shows” about the life of Mindy Kaling, yet her prolific power in the comedy world wasn’t enough to keep the show above water.
