Hogwarts Legacy finally allowed Harry Potter fans to become students at Hogwarts, but its enormous recreation of the Wizarding World was considerably better at delivering magical combat than an actual student life, which is a contributing factor as to why some fans have expressed concerns over the sequel. Players could attend a handful of classes, decorate the Room of Requirement, and befriend several classmates, but their lives beyond the game’s central adventure remained fairly limited. Romance was rightfully excluded, given that its student characters are minors, but an upcoming magical college life simulator can explore that part of campus life without raising the same obvious concerns.
