Paramount’s 2-Part Serial Killer Thriller Officially Returns in 1 Month

Dexter fans have been on a roller coaster of emotion the last few years, with a wave of renewals and cancellations, so many that it’s becoming tough to decipher what’s real and what’s not. Dexter has always been one of the most popular shows in the world since it took over TV back in the mid 2000s, but it wasn’t until it was added to Netflix a few years ago that it staged an epic worldwide resurgence. While most fans would agree that the Dexter: New Blood sequel series was a dud, the franchise turned things around with the premiere of Dexter: Original Sin, the prequel show starring Patrick Gibson. Paramount renewed the show for Season 2 before going back months later and announcing that the series had been cancelled — needless to say, this decision did not sit well with Dexter fans.
