Yesterday brought the shocking news that Daredevil: Born Againwould end after its third season. This has led a group of fans to launch a campaign to revive the series, while others are slowly realizing that Marvel’s television output will look very different after VisionQuest. Yet those fans forget that Daredevil got a chance few Marvel heroes have: the original Netflix series and Born Again will consist of six seasons of storytelling, and Charlie Cox has returned as Matt Murdock in other Marvel projects, including Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. One series, in particular, actually deserves a comeback because it helped set the stage for Marvel Television’s future projects.
