In about two weeks, Prime Video launches its highly anticipated Stephen King adaptation, with early critics’ reviews already in. The novel, published in 1974 and initially believed by King to be unlikely to succeed, has grown into one of his most renowned and historically significant works. So far, it has been adapted into three films, with one receiving a sequel.
