Anya Taylor-Joy Is Officially the Queen of Streaming With 3 Global Sleeper Hits

2026 has been the year of Anya Taylor-Joy so far, and she isn’t slowing down as we now move into the second half of the year. Taylor-Joy headlined the first $1 billion-grossing movie of 2026 with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which saw her return to her role as Princess Peach opposite Chris Pratt as Mario and Jack Black as Bowser. She then made her long-awaited return to Apple TV to team up with Timothy Olyphant for the new crime thriller series, Lucky, which spent months at the top of streaming charts. The fate of the show beyond Season 1 has yet to be decided. Later this year, she will star in a key role as Alia Atreides in Dune: Part Three, which is opening in theaters on December 18, the same day as Avengers: Doomsday.
