This Bonkers 100-minute Comedy Streaming on Hulu Got the Director Arrested

There are so many reasons Nirvana the Band the Show the Movie shouldn’t exist. Some of the stunts in the film were dangerous and illegal. The film has been in development for almost 20 years. From a copyright standpoint, it’s a parody of Back to the Future, which was recently acquired by legendarily litigious Disney. The biggest obstacle to production, however, is the thing that makes the movie so special: guerilla film-making. Oh, and yes—creator Jay McCarrol was indeed arrested for a stunt that didn’t even end up in the movie.
