Jon Bernthal’s “Violence-Packed” Action-Thriller Is Officially a Hulu Super-Hit

With his illustrious Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya drawing the bulk of attention for their success this year, let’s not forget what a terrific 2026 Jon Bernthal is having. Before playing a scene-stealing supporting character in Christopher Nolan‘s epic blockbuster, which has grossed more than $1.6 billion worldwide, Bernthal headlined a hit Netflix limited series alongside Tessa Thompson. Titled His & Hers, it briefly became one of Netflix’s 10 most-watched original shows of all time, before it was overtaken by the more recent Harlan Coben adaptation I Will Find You. Bernthal also starred in the well-received Marvel special Punisher: One Last Kill, which brought him back as the vigilante Frank Castle. This week, one of Bernthal’s most popular movies was resurrected on Hulu, a year after its theatrical release.
