Taylor Sheridan has released a handful of successful new projects already this year, but as his TV empire at Paramount continues to grow, he’s still pushing to make great movies. While most modern fans know Taylor Sheridan through his work on Yellowstone, he began his career writing (and sometimes even directing) legendary neo-Western thrillers like Sicario. After also writing other epic Westerns like Hell or High Water and Wind River, Sheridan decided to shift his focus to TV, but he’s finally returning to the world of movies next year with F.A.S.T., which is being hailed as a Sicario-style action thriller. Sheridan is also penning the script for Paramount’s highly anticipated Call of Duty movie, with Peter Berg tapped to direct. The film will be one of the biggest blockbusters in theaters in summer 2028.
