‘Thursday Murder Club’ Creator Officially Sets New Mystery Series at Netflix

Being able to tell a story on paper is an art form. Many authors live and pass on without seeing what their tales might look like in live-action. Others, however, enjoy that special privilege and sometimes more than once. Critically acclaimed author, George R.R. Martin, for instance, has seen several of his written works adapted on-screen from his high fantasy book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, which birthed Game of Thrones. To House of the Dragon and the Emmy-winning series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which were both inspired by other written texts set in the same universe. Controversial author, J.K. Rowling‘s Harry Potter novels have inspired a catalog of films and are currently the basis of a new HBO series.
