‘Harry Potter’ Season 2 Delay Officially Addressed by HBO Boss

Going back to Hogwarts once a year was one of the great traditions of the original Harry Potter era. Well, mostly. Eight movies arrived over a decade, letting audiences grow up alongside Harry, Ron, and Hermione while Warner Bros. somehow kept an increasingly enormous fantasy production moving at a pretty ridiculous pace. In fact, when you consider how long some projects take between installments, it’s nothing short of a miracle what Warner Bros. achieved with Potter. HBO is now attempting the same trick on an even bigger scale, but there’s one tradition the new adaptation won’t be able to maintain.
