Dune Sets Massive Expansion Just Days Before New Release

Right now is an electric time to be a Dune fan, and not just due to the looming release of the third and final installment in Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi trilogy. Warner Bros and Legendary have already announced that Dune: Part Three, which will adapt Frank Herbert’s Dune: Messiah, will be released in theaters on December 18. The film will go head-to-head with Avengers: Doomsday in the biggest theatrical weekend since Barbenheimer. Dune fans also have the second season of Dune: Prophecy to be excited about, and while it’s still without an official release date, it’s heavily speculated that it will return in the first half of next year. Production on Dune: Prophecy Season 2 wrapped earlier in the year, so an official update regarding release should be coming any day now.
