Binance has announced the closure of Binance Pool and its related mining services, scheduled for November 10, 2026. Impacted miners must migrate their equipment and withdraw funds before the final deadline.

Binance to Shut Down Crypto Mining Pool on November 10: What Miners Must Do

Binance Pool and its associated mining offerings are scheduled to wind down operations on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. The official announcement was made by Binance on October 13, with the company explaining in its statement that the closure stems from an ongoing evaluation of its service lineup.

This shutdown impacts miners who currently rely on the Binance network to earn rewards. Individuals wishing to continue mining must migrate their equipment to an alternative mining pool before the deadline in order to pursue new mining opportunities.

Binance Pool Shutdown: Mining Rewards and Services Affected

When the deadline hits, Binance will cease supporting Stratum addresses and other mining functions. Any hashrate and work submitted following the cutoff will be ignored and left uncredited. Conversely, work and hashrate successfully delivered by eligible miners prior to the deadline will be validated and credited in accordance with existing reward guidelines.

Several additional features will face termination, such as Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, and the Transaction Accelerator. Furthermore, Mining API services along with Telegram and email hashrate notifications will be retired. Any products discontinued due to this transition will no longer generate returns or rewards.

Participants holding Pool Savings assets are advised to withdraw funds or cancel subscriptions ahead of November 10. Binance also encourages clients to verify their accounts, collect any outstanding funds, and finalize any required identity verification procedures by 23:59 UTC on November 10.

Provided all criteria are met, eligible unpaid balances, refunds, and rewards will be distributed following the discontinuation of services under current terms. Historical payment and transaction details will remain viewable up until November 24 at 07:00 UTC, after which the pool web pages will be taken offline.

Why Binance Is Ending Its Bitcoin Mining Pool

Initially, Binance established its mining pool in April 2020 to aid Bitcoin miners. Over time, the platform rolled out supplementary crypto products and services designed to connect miners with broader aspects of the Binance ecosystem.

In 2022, Binance Pool launched a $500 million credit facility directed at digital infrastructure and Bitcoin mining businesses. Subsequent initiatives deployed in 2023 and 2024 encompassed Fractal Bitcoin merged mining support as well as Bitcoin Ordinals inscription tools.

The enterprise has refrained from publishing the pool’s specific hashrate or sharing financial figures connected to the choice of a substitute provider or the termination of the mining services. The announcement contains no indications that Binance plans to wind down its core cryptocurrency exchange platform.

Industry innovations—including updated communication protocols like Stratum V2 that provide miners with greater transaction-processing flexibility—helped drive the shift. Binance maintains that competitive pressures or external problems did not influence the decision.

According to Binance, existing mining services will function as usual right up until the pool shutdown takes effect. Miners who fail to adjust their configurations risk having hardware that cannot submit work through the legacy Binance endpoints.

For impacted miners, necessary actions involve modifying pool configurations and securing documentation for any owed payments that might otherwise become out of reach.
