In what is a major movement for the growth and sustenance of the crypto industry, both Elon Musk and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong have supported the growing bid to unseat Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. Indeed, both men have joined the growing list of influential individuals to support pro-crypto voice John Deaton as her successor.
Armstrong took to X (formerly Twitter) Monday to call for the continued support of Deaton. Moreover, he spoke out against the continued actions of Warren. Specifically, he discussed her opposition to the cryptocurrency sector and its place in the United States.

Throughout 2024, the cryptocurrency industry has evolved into a burgeoning political issue. With interest an unprecedented levels, candidates have begun discussing policies related to the asset class in ways they never had before. That has led to a rather intriguing development, as crypto voters see their voice matter as much as it ever has.
Not only has that been critical in the presidential race, as Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have represented two distinct positions on the industry, but also the Senate. That took a massive turn on Monday. Both Elon Musk and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong spoke in support of Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warrenâs opposition.
âCrypto holders in MA should realize Sen Warren is the one who got Gary Gensler his job and encouraged him to (unlawfully) try and kill the crypto industry in America,â Armstrong said in a Monday post.
